A Well Ordered World
We all have things in our lives that we like to have just so. Many of these idiosyncracies are endearing to those who love us, but occasionally they take some adjusting to. Ellie has decided that she likes doors to be closed. Refrigerator, bedroom, closet...doesn't matter. Closed is better. Mummy may be trying to get something out of the closet, but an open door is an open door. You never know when you'll hear the charge of thundering knees and feel the pressure of the door pressing against you. Woe be to the one who gets in the way of Ellie's plan.
“Hey! There's a problem over here!” | “See, you have to push until it clicks” |
“"Another job well done”
Any creative suggestions for what to do when she shuts herself in her room and sits in front of the door?

Well I am a big fan of putting your fingers under the door (If there is room if not try a smaller object like paper or such)and moving them about to make her giggle, It is a beautiful sound if I do say so myself.
