Higher Math

Ellie always enjoys company. As she reflected on our friend Amber's departure tomorrow, she began musing about our next arrivals. "When Kristian, Susanne, and baby Jonah come, there will be seven people in our house," she announced.

"Really?" I asked, "Who are all seven?"

"Two mummies, two daddies, two babies, and one little girl. That makes seven!"

How does she do that?

Bonus points for whoever can identify the equation above — double for a proof that the equation is correct!

Without using the internet, I was going to guess some kind of Gamma function. I had to look it up in a diff eq book though.

Proof?...hmmm, how many bonus points do I get?
Enjoy!

That's not a big deal,I think it's a joint family her grandparents, her parents, one little girl as she and two babies are her twin siblings. If it is wrong provide a answer with proof.
